Ok, lets NOT talk about amigaxyz, i DID send the KB to him and returned back to me as ACS (the courier) never found him. iIhave all the log files from amigahellas, his threds to me, his insults to me and my mother (and all my family etc...). Just ask Anybody on #amigahellas (Mrzammler got a 3000 KB from me for free also, I am one of the founders of amigahellas.gr etc. Ask anybody that MET ME IN PERSON on amigathering 6 and make your own opinions. ONE FACT: amigaxyz was permanently banned by IRCOPS from GRNET for using nickanmes like "animagocs mother is a whore"....
I have contacted a moderator for his post and I hope he will remove it.

I would like to know more about the "Gypsies" thing though...

The kind amigaxyz is speaking, compared to Animagic is telling a lot about the persons :-)

I also bought 2 things in eBay a Maxon Cinema 4D CD and 128MB DIMM RAM's both never arrived me. But I believed the senders that it were lost, because I know the german post and I used the cheapest courier without insurance. Things happens ..

I know Animagic for only a month and I believe that he's the most friendly and helpfull person I have ever met. He helped me most of the time with my Amiga problems and questions and he even wanted to send me one cable that he didn't use, because I couldn't find it anywhere local. Fortunatelly I found it, so I couldn't bother him. I really can't believe that there are people that don't look on eBay or searching google for stuff and beg other people for help. The worst of all is getting helped and calling "names" the same time! I don't know "amigaxyz" so I can't really tell but knowing Animagic I can REALLY TELL that he's a dedicated, helpfull AMIGA FAN!

@thread

just to clear things up

amigaxyz was using a nick at the time that belonged to another person in the channel. that's why animagic thought it was someone else.

I've met animagic and we've been good friends in irc and in real life. He has sent me an a3000 keyboard as he said before, for free. He's a very descent and good person, and i know a couple of others he had helped with amiga gear before. He has donated hardware for our community server, again for free.

If animagic says he send the package, then it's true. He was offering a free keyboard to someone he didnt know! I dont think there are many people who would do the same thing, nowdays, and it sucks when someone who should say thanks just because someone got in the trouble of making him happy, comes here instead and spreads false accusations.

Anyway is the only way

I too personally know Animagic, and I believe him 100%.
The whole thing is a misunderstanding, and in NO way he should be considered a scammer. He is a honest, helpfull and nice person.

Hi. I first met Animagic online a few months ago on #amigahellas and he seemed like a decent, talkative guy.

I did meet him physically in late July during Amigathering 6 in Thessaloniki, talked to him quite a lot and had lunch and dinner with him along with the rest of the Amiga users that bothered to show up.

He seems to be an enthusiastic Amiga user who's actually *used* his Amigas for *real work* (TV station). Not only did he fly from Rhodes to Thessaloniki but he carried along his newly acquired A1000 for the 20th birthday celebration. He also offered to lend it to us for display purposes for the upcoming InfoSystem Expo. I don't think that he would scam anyone, especially for a second hand keyboard.

I'd trust this guy anytime and I think that he made a good impression to everyone at the show.

Btw, yes, there are no Amiga shops left in Greece but you can always order stuff from Vesalia, Amigakit, Amigis, KDH etc...

I remember that incident with Animagic.
Someone entered #amigahellas and started pinging, querying and behaving in a strange manner. On a query he told me that he didn't have a keyboard (yet he was able to type the query).

I chat with Animagic a lot on the Greek Amiga channel and I think that he's a nice guy, although a bit innocent sometimes as it turned out in this case.

Animagic told me that this guy needed a keyboard and that he was going to send him a spare one, etc, etc.
I told him that he shouldn't bother because that guy's either a kid, or someone who hasn't got a life.
I also doubted that the address which that guy had given him even existed.

Of course the package was returned, because the address could not be found.

I don't know what to suggest to the person accusing Animagic.
Grow up?
I think I shouldn't bother with him at all.

I only posted here, so that the rest of you won't get the wrong picture of Animagic because of that guy's accusations.

I already defended Animagic on this thread months ago, not because I know him personally, but because I looked at the situation that was described objectively, and it just wasn't a scam. However, it seems my posts were deleted :-( :-( I didn't insult anyone, or anything, so I'm a bit puzzled what happened... :-?
I like Amigas

A "stupid kid" would be more applicable. *I* am a kid too (compared to some others in the channel). ;-)

Anyway, Animagic is VERY trustworthy, no matter what bull-droppings someone wants people to believe. Poios pousths einai autos, anyway? :-P

Is it? You need to participate in unmoderated forums some more then. ;-)
I wouldn't thank the moderators for removing the offending post, I'm *sure* that it had at least some entertainment value. ;-) Posts by idiots, accusing people, always make a fun read. :-)
