Hmmm... not a bad unit.

But the question is...

Will I still be able to play HL and Diablo on it? :-D

Mine (Samsung SyncMaster 570b) has 16 ms reaction time, and 3D-gaming looks great, as long as you have Vsync on.

Well you can do a lot better than that:

Look at this LG 17-incher over at ebuyer.com (16ms, great contrast and looks great)

Product id: 65119

It is currently just below £180 quid and it's got some raving customer reviews.

I have been researching the subject for a while and I don't think you can get much better value for money elsewhere now

They even offer free shipping!

(no I do not work for ebuyer.com  )

good luck

Looks nice :-D

Anybody bought from ebuyer before?  Do they have good customer support (should anything go wrong)?  Do they answer emails too? :-)

--edit--

Ah well, looks like this could be the one :-D

@Vincent

I've heard bad reports about eBuyer's return policy, and they were extremely rude to me when I queried why the postage rate to me (on the Isle of Man) was so high - so I'd never do business with them!

I get all my computer bits (well, most of the non-Amiga stuff, anyway) from Aria - keen prices, great service, quick delivery.
Check out some of their "Super Specials" or "Deal for the Day" items - there's some good quality, yet cheaply priced TFT monitors there... (a 17" Dell for under £170, or a 17" Arianet for £130 which is the same brand as I got and have had no problems or complaints about)
Pimp My Amiga  8-)

Well if you think ebuyer are bad for their rude responce then you'll find dabs even worse, its near impossible to get a human responce, everything is automated, no phone numbers. If it wasn't for the fact the company I work for has an account with them I'd havegiven up trying to get a reply worth reading.
Restraining orders are just another way of saying I love you!

I got an 17" Arianet Premium TFT Silver with 16ms response time from Aria.co.uk for £134.  It's great for games.

I bought that very monitor from that very shop the other day. First impressions are that its really fscking lovely. No ghosting, really good colour, nice wide viewing angle :)

In fact the only problem is that the Windows colour management  software that comes with it is {bleep}e and created a b0rk3n monitor profile and causes Adobe Photoshop to whinge it every time it starts. One uninstall later and all is well with the world again.
Cheers,

Olly

I hope that was just an uninstall of the monitor and not windows.

The problem with these monitors is that the image is that very good at a resolution other than the native one, so if you want a good pic you're stuck with that...
Well, at least that's how it was in past, I haven't bee on par with recent stuff...
