Wow, Geforce FX 5700LE sucks!

The vanilla 6800 is great card, better than the 6600GT,
when you can find a great deal on them.  I just received a
$105 rebate back from Best Buy after purchasing the card
with HL2.  I also received an extra 10% at checkout.  Since
the card also came with FryCry, this made the deal that
more attractive.  Unless, you can find a great deal on the
6800, then yes the 6600GT is the best bang for your AGP
buck.  Too bad the upcoming X800XL is PCI-E only.

As already stated, cost! :lol: While price shopping the local show ~a month ago it appeared to be the best value. I paid ~$120 for the card, retail box. Considering my previous setup had a Geforce MX 440, this was a step up. It just wasn't as big a step up as i expected :-x

 

But you still barely beat my newish laptop, Acer 1714 luggable  with Geforce 5700 go;-)

Didn't LE stand for "Loser Edition"  :lol:
I have an FX5200 overclocked and it works great
for Doom3, Halflife2 and others at max settings.
And it only cost about $50. Do a google search for
"nvidia coolbits" it will direct you to over
clocking your nvida chips.
