But if you had to sell this (its possibly the most heart wrenching thing I've ever done) you'd set the reserve at a high price.
I sold my pride and joy on eBay, which was my Amiga CD32 SX32 Pro module, complete with 32MB RAM, 2GB hard disk, 50MHz 68030, and a 50MHz 68882. A fantastic piece of kit! It really was a tough decision to sell it, so I can fully sympathise with you having to sell your whole collection.
But...
Lets just say the reserve is some way off yet...
...I started the bidding for my SX32 Pro at £9.99 with
no reserve. From my experience of selling on eBay, items with no reserve get a lot more bids, and usually sell for more. It's a huge risk, I know, but generally an item will sell for what people are prepared to pay for it, and not a penny more, regardless of what the reserve is. :-)
Oh, and by the way, my SX32 Pro finished at £410.00! :-)
(which made selling it slightly less heart-wrenching!)
