I was just checking out the demo. Rendering seems a lot better, but I'm curious how well javascript is working now. The demo seems pretty limited in some aspects.

Anyone here a regestered Ibrowse user? Does the javascript work (better) on Amiga.org? (Things such as smilies, quoting.. etc.)

Cool,
 javascript now is a lot better,
visually it`s better, and perhaps a slight speed increase as well...
the SSL is a welcome feature (although not new).

well I'm a registered IBrowse user and none of the stuff you mentioned seem's to work.

but remember that this is just a really minor update.

well the JS of the buttons works, its the pasting of the code into the message window is the problem, probably an mui issue or something.

WA..and may I add HOO! Nice. After a little scare. Something which a swift reset soon cured. Its up and running. I was about to say I`ve seen no change, but I`ve just one while typing. At long last it word wraps! Very nice.

Its nice to have a config file to just load, and bang its 99% setup. :-)

This is just the secondmost thing i have been waiting for, u all know what the most wanted thing is i guess :)

damn i am happy that i finally can use my fav browser at everything i need it for atm.

I don't see why (it'd be untrue if anyone did say something like that.) I'm a registered Voyager user, and I've used Aweb quite a bit. After the testing I've done with the new Ibrowse, I must say that I'm VERY pleased with the progress made. So much so, that I'll be voting for it with my dollars.

So far, I've tried a few problem sites and they've worked quite well (paypal logged in great, hotmail worked with deleting messages.)

Good stuff imo.

Ibrowse v2.3 is sooo cool!!! And for sure, I didnt have any problems with Ibrowse v1.12 -> v2.2 either. v2.0 was a bit unstable, but v2.1 came out fast after v2.0, so the pain wasnt there too long :)

Go go go go Ibrowse developer team! This is such a thing that keeps me alive and also keeps our Classic Amiga a bit more alive too...

This is worth the wait, and be sure that Amitopia will come out with a test when its out!

javascript doesn`t DO much...

anyway just tested it on WINUAE and it works too fast! the gifs are a blur...have to slow it down...

I didn`t mean every Voyager/AWeb user. I meant theres always one who tries to get everybody wound up and go against public opinion. Well thats the way things have been going lately anyway.

OK yeah they have fixed the flickering when the Page loads on cybergfx very nice !


I just updated my 2.2 Registerd-Version but i get
an error message when IBrowse launches

unable to load javascript.library !?

what I'm doing wrong ?
