im lookinf forward too but for ACA 1240/60 , that will be great card new 060 with very fast ram memory , that will be %&$#?@!%&$#?@!%&$#?@!%&$#?@!ing monster !!

vampire ?? for me is JOKE

Vampire is no joke to me, my v600 is very fast and works like a charm.
It has very fast DDR2 memory and with upcoming gold 2 core memory speed will be even faster.
Solder quality will improve as they are now being made professionally instead of semi hand soldered.
And with the ACA series of cards you do not get RTG gfx, i think this is a killer bonus feature with vampire, i cannot stand looking at ECS or AGA for desktop use.
Once the FPU is implemented on the Apollo core I cannot see any reason why i would want to go back to a 68060.

Will be buying the A1200 Vampire for sure, it will be even faster then the current Vampires.
Amiga is addictive coz it is fun to use

I have no idea if he would pick up vampire, but I'm pretty sure he's not allergic to fpga's.

Many of his products use FPGAs since many, many years, he was maybe the one who introduced FPGA to the amiga and cbm communities way back.

Take a chill pill mate, it's only computers we're talking about here - 30 year old ones at that. Kipper has worked extremely hard, and all the stuff I've bought from him has superb soldering, so I just don't know what you're talking about here, nor will anyone else for a guess.

Thank you Kipper for your wonderful Amiga bits and pieces you have made over the years... It's appreciated. :)

The way I look at it is thus.

Haters gotta hate, or they might get bored, and buy a Samsung Note 7 :)
Some people are just not happy.

Hell, from what the other noise is going on about the Apollo core and the Vampire boards, I may need to at least two.  One for one of my Atari STs, and one for my A4000 when that is available.  Though it sounds like the standalone ones may be made before either of those?
