Probably 1920x1200. WUXGA. That's not the Indivision giving you that message, that's your monitor. Maybe it can't sync to the video output of the Indi, but that would have to be a rare monitor, indeed. I've hooked up to dozens of different monitors, TV's, and projectors, and never had an issue.
Nope, just plug it in. Probably should update it to 1.10 firmware, but that doesn't affect the initial display (that's just to use 800x600 mode). If you put the Indi config tools on your system it gives you the option to switch between 60Hz and 75Hz output, if I remember the numbers off-hand. Maybe your monitor needs the higher?I can check on mine to confirm those numbers a bit later. What is the brand & model # of your monitor?
hummm, yes, workbench might help. on your monitor that does work, what firmware version does it say is loaded when you power the system on?
I've heard of a few monitors that don't work, but never seen one (fail to work) in person. To hazard a guess I'd say Indi ECS works with >90% of all monitors/TV's/projectors which accept VGA-style input. But I'm just pulling that number out of my a**, lol.
