Aaaaaand about the "menu" : Which one, normally you can press F12 while in Emulation to get there ...

The Menu is the main A1200NG menu, that you get from a cold boot.

You have to quit out of emulation for that, so F12 -> QUIT is the way to go AFAIK that menu is not accessible while in emulation ...
