I always wanted to have some floating, properly antialiased GUI's for MP3 and VIDEO replay, and with MorphOS it's in reach. I even have a ready design, and dare to make some more if there is an interested coder. :-)

The Yugo MP3 player "Prayer" supports so-called "cloaks" (skins by another name) and amanaged windows with irregular shapes. It's on Aminet.

Me, no, but Prayer recently went open source, so I suppose that you can find some inspiration there.
