Color Palette
« on: July 02, 2004, 10:51:36 AM »
Playing i.e. Gloom or sth else in WorkBench window my color palette is changing so all icons and windows get a strange colors.
I've tried to lock it using VisualPrefs, FullPalette etc. Nothing.
How to block color palette on Workbench? Is there a way to do this? I'm using Picasso 96 and 1024x768x32 bit on WinUAE, also on my Amiga 1200 with 256 col screen.

Is Gloom designed to run in a Workbench window or is it a patch (WHDLoad or similar) ?

If Gloom changes the palette without notifying the OS, there is no way to prevent it from changing icon colors.

Bye,
Thomas

IIRC, Gloom changes the palette values of the first 256 entries of the pallette. Nothing to do about it, except for running in full-screen. // Connie
