You're doing what I am considering doing....

I'm so fed up waiting for all the nothingness of the past years. I'm probably going to get a catweasel and AF6 to replace the A1200PPC.

It doesn't make sense to give up right now after all the waiting and with the thing almost here... 8-)

Your machine is really nice, why don't you keep it for classic stuff?

If you do wish to keep the eBay advert up, bare in mind that Parcel
Force will ship your item for just £10.20 and up to 30kg can go!

That's quite a good deal, you could fill the box with shredded Argos
catalogue and polystyrene chips to keepit well protected!

:-D :-D

Also, courier companies can do pickup and collection nowadays for £50
or less. A van comes to your house, you give him all the stuff (in
boxes of course) and he will deliver it to your winning bidder!

In my experience, if you put that machine on for £1.00 you will get a
much higher end price than starting at £350. NOONE will let a machine
go for £1.00 so you will end up with 40-bids and are more likely to
reach your £300+ mark.

:-D :-D

Good luck, it's a nice machine. Wish I had the cash...

;-)

Its a pre-emptive sale. I want to get an Amiga One, but don't have the space for two computers so somethings got to give. I really don't use it enough to justfy it. Sad to see it go, cos its taken about 3 years to get it how I want it.

With all the legacy stuff in it, running OS4 cleanly will be a hassle.

Having said that, if it doesn't sell, I won't be too upset.

Makes sense, though like the man says starting at £350 isn't the best way.  Parcel Force 48 hour sevice now costs £11.35 (ish), and has a 20Kg limit BTW ;-)

Well, I've decided not to sell it now anyway and have ended the auction.

I wanted £350 for it, which I figured was a fair price. I suppose I could have put that as the reserve price, but it doesn't really matter now.
