Anyone seen a non-parity 128mb FPM?
« on: June 27, 2004, 01:43:34 PM »
I don't have much space in my little A1200 desktop, and to get 128mb
in there it'd need to be super small and with no frills...

Has anyone ever come across a 128mb SIMM without the space-eating
parity chips?

If they exist there'd be 8x chips on both sides of the SIMM, each
being 8Mbytes.

I don't want ECC, parity or EDO SIMMS, they have to be FPM. A lot of
non-parity compact SIMMS were for laser printers and some will only
access the last few megabytes if in pairs.

Memory experts, enlighten me!

:-D

I got a pair of 128Mb EDO SIMMs in my BlizzardPPC. They are taller than your usual SIMMs, but they seem to fit OK.
