Over the next ~week or so we will be stocking up on many different crystal oscillators used to overclock Amigas, their accelerator cards and related expansions. Besides the standard speeds like 60Mhz and 666Mhz, we will be stocking some more unusual/hard top find speeds like 68Mhz, 72Mhz, 80Mhz etc so the experimental Amigans can get their fix.

Here's my question to you. What do you want to overclock and what speed are you looking for? Request a speed and I will stock it:-)

I need a 24Mhz crystal, actually.
Try blazedmongers new Free Universal Computer kit, available with the GUI toolkit Your Own Universe, the popular IT edition, Extremely Reliable System for embedded work, Enhanced Database development and Wide Area Development system for telecommuting.

I wanna overclock a 3640 with 25 Mhz to at least 33 Mhz. But I am actually bidding on a kind of Speedmaker device that allows to change the Mhz from 0,5 to 120 ... easy for experimenting  :-)

But as always, I haven´t got it until I have won it  :-)

Hum,
if i remember correctly , it`s best to stick to multiples of the bus speed; or it will slow down the data.

eg. the clock cycle (14.2Mhz?) times perfectly with 28Mhz or 42Mhz...

33 is reasonable since it`s 2½ times 14Hhz....(and within 10% of the original speed, hopefully)...

[er, or not...]

Seems to make sense, although I would not wanna try to overclock a standard 14,2 Mhz A1200 t4 42 Mhz ... unless somebody tells me it is possible ???
How fast can you overclock an 68010 by the way ???

Hum,
68010 with liquid nitrogen cooling perhaps 50Mhz...

[The 030,040, 060 chip on an accelerator card still uses the original 14.2 Mhz bus (or multiples), remember]

I would like to see an amiga 3000 overclocked to 1,337MHz. If i could do that, i'd have the pimpest box on the block.

Other cool clocks:
3.1415926535MHz
420MHz
69MHz
187MHz
3133.7MHz

Extreme amiga over clocking, the bleeding edge of computing technology.

I havent seen anuthing about over clocking the amiga one machines. Cant blame though, i wouldnt risk frying it after paying $3,000 bucks on a motherboard

I expect the $5-$10 range for a single piece, roughly.

I would be interested........
I have a 2630 card @25mhz, I have a 50mhz 030 chip
I just need the crystal. Also you should carry the
crystal sockets.

Is it half or full? IE is it a square or a rectangle?

@Redrumloa
>Is it half or full? IE is it a square or a rectangle?

If this was directed to me.......
I think its full?? Its a 25mhz in there now so I
would need a 50mhz (I think)
The crystal is rectangle.
About 5/8 in. X 3/8 in in size.
I'd like to try a few and see what happens.

I have a CSII (060/50) in my 4000T that I would like to overclock to 66MHz. I have a small fan on the 060 now at 50MHz, would I have to change anything other then the crystal?
