Program called Secure Data V1.0

Hope you lovely people can help me again  :-D

I bought an A1200 about 6 months ago second hand, all was working fine untill now. When you boot the Amiga up workbench normally loads from the HDD, however before WB kicks in a program called Secure Data runs. This was not a problem I used to type my password in and WB would load.

Now this program will not accept the password and when I launch WB from the floppies I am unable to access 1 of the partitions of the HDD.

Does anyone out there know of this program and if so how do I get round this???

What I'd suggest is try the password default re-read your documentation to find out what that is.

Or find its config file to make double sure that its what you put down initially, again the documentation should tell you where it puts it.

failing that, try and contact the author.

POO  :-(  I dont have the documentation as the machine was second hand. The password is on a peice of paper stuck on the front of the machine (really safe)

The Auther is D.J.Baddeley if anyone has ever come accross this name before?

Last;y I have tried to look for the config file but I would have no idea how to edit it if I found it.

Any other ideas?
