Special floppy cable for A1200T?
« on: June 16, 2004, 02:00:05 PM »
Just got my missing parts to finally assemble my Elbox 1200T.
Didn't get the floppy cable with the case sop I bought a standard 60cm floppy cable at a local computer parts shop but my floppy drive doesn't behave as it should...the usual sounds it make as it checks if I have a disk in it so my question is are the amiga floppy cables wired in a special way?
Have aligned the red line with "1" on the motherboard.

AFAIK the amiga FDD cable has no twist in it on the ribbon whereas a PC one does...

maybe thats it?
