Ok, I finally got Version 2.8.2 to work by going back to older versions of some of the MUI libraries, but this version is just @#$@. Version 0.1735 was much better, but for some reason it does not log in anymore. I can see that it pings the login server, but there is no reply.

ICQ on the PC works fine, and both my Amiga and PC are connected to the same router, so it is not a firewall issue.

Basically, I want a version of STRICQ running that has file transfers, The old version had it and I expected version 2.8.2 to have it as well, but it does not.

ARGH!!!

Can anyone help?

As far as i can tell STRICQ 2.x doesn't support the newest ICQ protocol anymore. So none of the ICQ ports work on the miggy. :-(
Your only choice is Jabberwocky, but that's not supporting filetransfers at the moment :-(

A friend pointed me to http://www.micq.org just after i posted the above.

Really good to see there is still an up to date ICQ port! :-)

Supports latest ICQ protocol and can identify many ICQ clones. Only lack is the GUI, it's just a shell based ICQ client. It would be cool to see someone creating a nice MUI for it! :-D
