Just been on the phone to power computing (UK) and they say they don't have any in and to ring back in 2-3 weeks  :pissed:

I'm on an impulse to fix up my A1200 and get it working so I can have a bash at all the games I used to love and 2-3 weeks might mean my impulse wears off and the A1200 goes back under the bed, never to see the light of day for another X years.  :-o

Does anybody know a good place to buy a scandoubler so I can put my A1200 onto my Dell 21" monitor and play Amiga games in (hopefully) amazing quality.

Preferably in the UK but I'm willing to sacrifice and order from Europe if possible, thanks.

I'm also looking for a device to connect PC floppy drives to an Amiga for use as DF0: or a replacement internal drive if possible, is that a catweasel device I need?

Thanks  :-D

I have more fun planning things (and luck) than I do actually putting them together

Try Analogic at http://www.analogic.co.uk/ and look under Addons and Upgrades.

Actually, I just recently bought an A1200 scandoubler/flicker fixer from GGS-Data in Sweden (I got it delivered just the other week):

gunne@ggsdata.se

I can really recommend this dealer! :-)
MorphOS is Amiga done right! :)

www.eyetech.co.uk should have a few flicker fixers still.
Time to move on.  Bye Amiga.org.  :(

If all UK shops fail, there are FlickerMagics (SD+FF) at Vesalia (in Germany)
...

To replace the floppy just pick up an external
floppy drive and pull it out of the case. It should
bolt right in. I had a C=A1200 (sold it), with a bad
floppy, I had an external floppy I used with my A500,
(sold that one too), anyway I just pulled it out of its
case and installed it internally in the A1200.
It worked fine, the only problem is the eject button
usually doesn't stick out as far as a regular internal
drive, but other than that, no problems.
