Would this work with an Amiga?
« on: June 14, 2004, 02:38:45 AM »
Just came across this interesting device and was wondering whether it would work with an Amiga or not.

Lik-Sang VGA Adaptor

It looks like it should work. Could be a great scandoubler and that 3d motion adaptive deinterlacing sounds to me like flicker fixing too. It's not much (if any) cheaper than existing Amiga scandoubler/flicker fixers but the fact that it works with other devices is appealing.  :-D

It may not be of much use for the Amiga, but appears to be a good solution for the Commodore 64/128! I'm tempted to get this.

DO NOT get one of those. They suck and break down fast. I had a friend
that got one to use with his game consoles and a flat screen monitor.
He went through three before he gave up. They work great at first, but
slowly die off.

Are you saying the whole concept is flawed or just this particular brand? Perhaps someone makes a better version.
