Just got a Developer Pre-release copy of OS4
« on: June 11, 2004, 06:55:09 AM »
Hi everybody,

To my surprise I got a Developer Pre-release copy of OS4.
Did all people who paid for the €50,- coupon receive this copy?

The lay-out sure does look nice :-)

Bye,

Spidey

Spipdey,

You are registered in our system as an A1 owner, that's why you got the CD. Maybe there was a mixup I don't know.

Does it install on your Pegasos? :-)

Cheers,
Ron

Hi cap,

Well, no :-)

I'm one of the people who got tired of waiting and switched over to the Pegasos. (already more than a year ago, time flies!)
Before that I was one of the people who paid for the €50,- coupon and all.

Bye,

Spidey

Hi Ron :-)

I didn't try it yet :-)

But I don't mind having this copy, because I want to support the great work of Hyperion to accomplish this.

Bye,

Spidey

@ Spidey

:-o

Well, if you haven't got any use for it, you could always do "the good
deed of the day" and send it to Olegil or someone else who is still
waiting! :-) Or perhaps just keep it as a souvernir? :-)
MorphOS is Amiga done right! :)

Perhaps the CD is intended for ironing on a T-Shirt =).

Or do the "the nasty deed of the day" and send Olegil the empty case.

Make sure you put one of these unbrakeable shrink-foils around it  :-D  :-P
1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else

The question now is - has the new owner been registered
i.e will they get a copy of the prelease? and like you i've probably paid as much.   ;)

Well guys,

I turned this case inside out, but couldn't find any t-shirts :-)

Oh well, perhaps you have to have an A1 to "unlock" this feature, so I'll send this copy back to Palpatine so he can send it to an A1 owner :-)

Bye,

Spidey

ps: the AHI-prefs is the only prog that works directly in MorphOS. :-)
