Amiga 1200 Tower Conversion Cables Requried
« on: June 10, 2004, 03:35:12 AM »
Hi everyone,

I have an Amiga 1200 and would like to put it into a tower and was wondering what the special cables are called (or where I can buy them in the UK) to connect the ports on the A1200 to the back of the tower.

I'm considering going the custom route and want to place the A1200 motherboard inside the case and have extended cables from the ports on the A1200 to the back of the case.

What are these cables called and where might I be able to purchase them in the UK? Thanks.

I'd need 2 for the serial ports, one for the parallel port etc.

Thanks a lot guys!

People usually solder those themselves.

Ready cables are usually around 1M or more in length, so they'll clutter up the case.

2 serial ports? Internal and silversurfer, or what?
