WANTED: Amiga A3000 System w/ethernet
« on: June 02, 2004, 05:57:58 PM »
I am looking for a Amiga 3000 with an ethernet adapter that is in good working order.  I am not the richest person, but a reasonable price I will be willing to pay :-)  I want to get into the Amiga world and may have a line on a machine but I am not sure.  The less expensive the better though.

If you can help or have an extra machine I am interested.  Also it will be helpful if you are in the Kansas City Metro Area.  I would also entertain non-working models but will be reluctant to pay for any of these.  Hope someone can help.

Thanks,

Mike Needham, Shawnee, Kansas

amibench.org might be your best bet, or ebay.

Also try looking at the comp.sys.amiga.marketplace newsgroup. They usually flag items for sale or auction.

I have an a3000 with believe a 512MB HD and 8MB fast, as well as an updated buster chip.  It boots, and has a HD floppy that I kinda jimmied in.  I'd like to get $200 + shipping.

If you really want to step up to the plate, I'll have my A3000/060 up for sale soon.  I just need to put it all together and give it a good testing.  It'll be slightly more than cheap, bordering on expensive really.  But, it'll be cheaper than buying a stock 3k and upgrading it yourself.

If you're interested I'll post some specs.
Time to move on.  Bye Amiga.org.  :(

I guess it really depends on the bottom line... yeah please post the specs and contact information and I will see whether or not we can come to an agreement;-)

Thanks
