ok, I've got a couple of large items that need to go one way or another:
16 bit VME chassis
Has a 68030 double-width processor card, another card with a 68010 in it, and an IDE/IO card. It looks quite smart and powers up ok (rather neat PSU built into the base of the cabinet), but I no longer have a text terminal so I can't say weather it works ... oh, and it weighs half a ton!
2x AT type tower cases; both high quality, thick metal.
One short/wide that used to house a 'Goliath' server, would be ideal for towering an A2000, only has 4x 5 1.4" bays open to the front.
One tall/thin, used to house a 60 MHz Pentium 1, looks flash in a 90's kinda way, removable sides, 5 x 5 1/4" plus fancy-fronted 3 1/2" bays open to the front, suit towerized A1200 or as a replacement wall for your house - it really is that tall!
All free to anyone that can collect from my area, next week it goes in the skip! If you have a particular stiffy for the VME chassis I could post it, but it wound be horrifically expensive!
Also for a little cash I could be persuaded to part with these:
Original Compaq, the first PC clone from '82. Suitcase sized portable, all works, boots Dos 3 if I can find the disk! 256k Ram, 2x 5 1/4" single density drives, CGA graphics, internal 9" CRT screen, very wierd.
Original Viglen, based on a BBC B, but turned into a desktop case with 2x 5 1/4" drives on the front, and seperate keyboard. Some option roms, it powers on ok, but havn't bothered to try anything else with it.
Again, postage on these would be unrealistic ...
