Lotus II was once the most beautiful racing game for Amiga. Today it looks just silly...

Yeehaw!!!!! Turbo!!!!!! Checkpoint!!!!!!
Marks, Set, Go...  Congratulations!!

:-D  :-D  Sorry folks, I couldn't resist.

There were 8 levels if I recall correctly.

Forest - No Password

Fog    - Pea Soup
Snow   - ?
Desert - ?
Marsh  - ?
Motorway - Liverpool
Storm  - E Bow

Does anyone remember those missing three passwords?
Thanks to the Retro Gamer CD, I've been playing this recently, but I can't get it to reliably work, I'll have to play about with the Winuae configs.

Cheers,

Boy!!!
You people give wayyy too much credit to this game. I have always believed this game sucked..............all 3 of them.........they may have had nice menus and music and intro, but the controls were so fake!  your actually moving the screen and not the car!

although Jaguar XJ220 had the same control it was slightly better.

but if you want to know what a car game should feel like more or less, then try CRAZY CARS 3 and Batman the Movie (the second level)  that driving part alone for Batmman was wayy better than all 3 seires of Lotus 3, and I Happen to have the best versions of Lotus (CD32 version)  with CD music and all.

But seriously....whenever I looked at car games on SNES and saw Amigas versions.I was disappointed. So far I have found nothing better than Crazy Carss 3 and Overlander and Batman, when it comes to that type of racing. ChaseHQ could have been better but was too slow and the gfx were too tiny.
CD32 is actually the best Amiga ever made by Commodore!...
