Installer version 43 ??

Hi again peeps.
I've managed to get a 3-Com network card for my 1200, installed the driver ok.
Now I'm trying to install Miammi it says I need Installer ver. 43 or higher.
I've looked on www.nordicglobal.com as suggested but the link is busted , and I've looked on Aminet but can't find it .

Any ideas

I tried a search on Aminet , this time I found it RTFM !! :-(

Any ideas where I can find the actual installer ?
It's been such a long time since I used a miggy I feel a complete idiot.

You and me both! I just tried installing my shiny new 3.9 over the top of 3.1 on UAE. But UAE no longer autorcognises CD's. So i got Idefix which comes with a CD file system, but it needs installer to work. So I grab it off Aminet, drop in my C (A hazy bit of Amiga knowledge that's stayed with me) and it still does not work! now i'm at a standstill. I just hope it works on my 4000T or i'm screwed!

   On another note I was pissed off with my 3.9 CD- came in a cracked CD single case, no box, no mannuals, most annoying.

Installer-43_3.lha (devpack) or InstallerNG.lha (next generation), both from Aminet, should do it. The devpack do include the installer as far as I know and NG is 100% compatible with the original installer but with more features requiered by some installscripts.

When I got my OS 3.9 disk the first one was bad.
I returned it to Software Hut, they replaced it
and the new one worked just fine.
So you may have a bad pressing of the disk.
If it doesn't work then return it for a new one.

Sometimes Installer ends up in SYS:Utilities by default. Make sure there's not an older version in there that may be interfering.

Right I tried installerNG .
It's coming up with a wrong number of arguments error
