Since we are talking about MKIII, I wonder if anyone could offer some advice.  I have a MKIII, , not overclocked, but installed ina desktop 3000.  It ran great for a long time without the 3000 case being on.  Then I put the case back on it, and soon it it started having problems and then failed to boot.  I figured I overheated it.  My question is , is finished?  Or is it worth fixing, selling, or should I chuck it.  I do plan on getting an AmigaOne as soon as AOS 4 is available, so I don't want to spend a lot fixing it.

Try outpost.com or newegg.com as both have some great prices and just about anything you could ever need.

I have a 60MHz 060 chip and am running it at 66MHz on my GVP-m 4060 no problems.  I had to get stable RAM though, my original 32MB SIMMs would fail at anything higher than 60MHz.  At first I thought my setup would not overclock higher than 60, but when I tried the other SIMMs all was good!  I am temped to try higher that 66Mhz on my GVP board!

You can buy oscillators from numerous online stores. Depending what country you live in, but overall the oscillators are cheap to ship because they are only as big as your thumb nail.
