I'm still acting like a deranged 21 year old.

I keep asking myself when I'm going to grow up, settle down,
stop getting wasted,

I quit all booze and ciggies back in late 2002 and lost ~50 pounds last year.

Looks like I am ahead of the curve on this one :-D

-Edit- Looking back i do not miss dropping my vices one bit. It was a bit of a change at first because my social life pretty much revolved around booze, everyone drinks so it seems. Life sure is different with a clear head:-)
Someone has to state the obvious and that someone is me!

Well, I'm 18!
I've been visiting Amiga.org since I was about 14.

IMHO, a more interesting topic would be the age at each
people here encountered Amigas and computers generally.
I got an Amstrad CPC6128 as a gift when I was ...4.
I still remember how fun it was to {bleep} up Basic programs
(not knowing what exactly I was doing of course;-)
I got my first Amiga 2 years later.
That was actually my only teacher in computing. :-)
The Amiga taught me everything I know.

same here. It let me expand my career to using computers as an art tool, and for that, I will be forever loyal and greatful!

My former boss, Tony used to say I was an "Amiga Snob". he said this with some humor, of course. It's a title I carry with honor! :elvis:

i "interacted" with my first computer at the age of 4 in my nursery...i think it was an acorn?

My encounter with the Amiga was when my brother and our dad went to an Amiga show. They bought an Amiga 500+. My mum was furious   She wouldn't let my bro open it for 3 months...he had to sacrifice about 3 birthdays for that one thing...anyway  :-D

and then....we played...and played...played...and played...and played...and [you get the picture] I was about 5 then

then pc's were "better" and we bought them. recently my bro bought an A1200

To have one
. i actually did something useful with it, installed miami, ibrowse, and some other crud, without any knowledge of workbench etc...and a little help from vinceAC and linchy  :-)

At the age of 10 i started programming, and today i know php, vbasic [it sucks donkey penis{avoiding beep thingy}], c, and assembler [don't EVER make me remember that...]

Some goodness i've done:

Made sure there's at least one linux machine in each comp room in my school, started doing small web design for local churches schools and crud, and run several game and webservers...

that's about it folks

Well, I never had the time to try assembler but I program
in C, do some web design (www.pegasos.amigasympan.gr, giving credit for my sister's graphics and opi's scripting)
and getting VERY pissed off administrating my school's
network because they are LAME... Computer teachers that
can't operate anything and need help even for using WinAMP...
I'm quite happy that I finally finished it:-) (I'm in my
LAST school exam period right now).
BTW, ALL machines at school dual boot Win2k and Debian. :-)

@odin

Unless sir_inferno has had a birthday recently you're correct about his age. I'm 25 so if I die at 75 i've lived one third of my life, and what a ride it's been so far... etc. etc. bunch of poo!?!

Oh, no no no, I never allowed anyone to install CounterStrike, they were being FORCED to play Unreal Tournament with me (and lose;-).

Seriously, I was the one pulling the strings in there, as
they were totally clueless... I installed anything I wanted.
