Be Inc. sold to palm.. is Be no more?

just stumbled across be's website here. Not only is the site up for sale, but I noticed they've sold out to Palm.
And another funny note.. there's a link to a filed lawsuit in Q1 2002 against M$ to sue them for breaching the antitrust case (usual spiel about M$ making them go bust).

Another one bites the dust??

I hate to be the one to bring this up, but this happened early 2002 if not sooner.  bebits.com can lead you to articles about it.

Yes thats right sold ages ago to  palm  they sold off all of be,s  software and hardware. some good be links beos news and downloads

Yep but that was early 2002 already.
There won't probably be any new BeOS from Be or Palm, there is OpenBeOS somewhere on the net!
It's even talked to port it to AMIGA :-)

What does Palm do with BeOS?
Well many of the great multimedia features of BeOS will be integrated into PALM OS 6.
As Sony is a major player for PALM development software it has already prototypes :-D
