Labyrinth and Gulliver's Travels
« on: May 11, 2004, 03:28:02 PM »
These films are 2 of the funniest films I have ever watched!!! Anyone noticed how David Bowie's character in Labyrinth is a striking resemblance to Jono Pike? DANCE, MAGIC DANCE! He actually sang that song on sunday when we went to play football!

In gulliver's travels, Gulliver says things that would only be said by someone of Jono Pike's character. Here are a few quotes that are very like Jono:

"I woke up, the sun shone, the birds sang, THE WORLD HAD NOT ENDED!"
"Glad to see there are people on this island the same size as me!"
"I saw it! A flying island!"

 Come What May

[Labyrinth from the g(r)eek meaning `double-axe`,  the symbol of  the Minoan  civilization used at the palace of Knossos.... and  of course  (ab)used into meaning a  network of corridors and mazes]
