PPC Emulator
« on: May 09, 2004, 10:34:14 PM »
I don't know if anyone has posted a link to this PPC emulator, but here is a PPC emulator that actually has code.  It currently is only running Linux PPC in it's host environment, but the source is availible.

Isn't that just as standard PC emulator? -Edit- I've just seen the "testing" PPC target...

Cool! Look at the tables! It seems that there is a 68k-version in developement. With user-mode emulation, and some form of Linux to AmigaOS translation, you could run Windows applications under AmigaOS!

Seriously, though, this seems cool!

PowerMac Emulator for Linux / BeOS

The code from this could be used in UAE to emulate PowerUP/WarpOS/MorphOS/OS4 I would assume?

I was thinking along those lines... I was going to have a play at the weekend - but let me know how it goes.

I wonder if MorphOS can still run on ~10Mhz (emulated)processor efficiently... ;)

If I recall correctly, the Mars rover probes was running on 20Mhz PowerPCs.
Amiga 1200 PiStorm32-Emu68-RPI 4B 4GB.
Ryzen 9 7900X, DDR5-6000 64 GB, RTX 4080 16 GB PC.
