Your chance you own arguably the best graphics card ever created for the Amiga computer. This card is in excellent condition, fully working with its original box, manual, software and cables to fit the card to an Amiga 2000. The card's real home would be an Amiga 3000/4000 to make use of an in line zorro 3 /video slot.

I have been using this card in my Amiga 4000. It is very easy to use. Simply plug it in and it automatically passes through the native graphics modes, and flicker fixes all interlaced modes, and allowing you to use a standard PC monitor (bigger the better!). The Picasso RTG software (included) giving you access to super quick 24, 16 and 8bit modes for your workbench/graphics software. TV Paint is amazing with this card!

The reserve is £60.00

Thanks Amiga.org

The text on the auction is a little confusing (at least for me anyway!). Is the scandoubler intact - the text talks about "ready to use in an A2000" (which, to me, implies that the scandoubler has been snapped off)?

Cheers,
Lee.

Hi,

Sorry if the text is confusing. The flicket fixer/scan doubler part of the card is definately intact - it has NOT been snapped off (as in the picture I took)

I still have the cables if someone wanted to do that...although it would be a real pity and it would only be at zorro II speeds.

I'll add an update to the text tonight.

Pete

If the scan doubler is removed the card remains functionally identical. I moved my P-IV from an A2000 to a A4000 and it runs perfectly in Zorro3 mode. In fact, it's far more flexible as you can place the card in a non-video slot (wiring to the scandoubler which remains in the video slot) to work around a conflict with the Buddhaflash...

@Knapster

Thanks for the confirmation.

Let the bidding begin (well, continue...)! ;-)

Cheers,
Lee.
