Why are young dudes dressing like 'queens', these days?
« on: April 28, 2004, 04:20:54 AM »
What's with yellow spikey hair, stupid colored T-Shirts with silly logo's on them, womens blouses, womens pants, and 'man-bags' ?

So many 18 to 22 Y/O dudes I see around this area are dressing like that.

Somebody please tell me!

I think its all about looking like Eminem, or something like that. BTW, its not only the 18-22 year olds, but males as young as 10 as well, I see it all the time at work. Whats even worse is primary school kids with mobile phones :-o :-o :-o

That mobile phone in school thing is stupid. I never had a mobile when I went to school. I wasted all my money on Coke and dohnuts! ;)

Eminem? What is that all about?

If I had a 10 year old son, and found that he was dressing like that, I'd either 'ground' him, or take him to a psychologist!

Very rarly does a child actually pay for the mobile phone, the parents do, people must have too much disposable income these days. I say its time we brought shirts, ties, blazers and corporal punishment back into schools!!!

I don't think expensive uniforms will solve the mobile phone thing.

I'm against that.

What, you want queens in the army?

NO!

Conscription will help this joint in absolutely no way whatsoever!

It's fashion, dude!
The problem is that fashion is horrible! It's not just men's  clothes, it's all clothes! Naah! I'll stick to the jeans and a t-shirt...  :-D

This reminds me of something one of my friends said yesterday. Something like this, "What is it with 'hairstyles' these days? It seems as if someone has had their hair cut by a maniac who has selected random locks of hair, cut them to random lengths and then thrown hair dye at them. And the fact people pay up to 60 pounds [~100USD] for this! I'm in the wrong occupation, I should be a hairdresser!"

In the days of separated families, often so the parent who is not living with the child to phone them in privacy whenever they want, without having to deal with the fruitloop ex. :-)

Look, you can moan about it, but you can also enjoy it

it's your choice

it doesn't harm anyway.

And I do not have the slightest problem with it  8-)
