broken Trumpcard SCSI board?
« on: April 21, 2004, 09:35:37 PM »
I got a broken Trumpcard SCSI board with some other stuff a while ago and am wondering about fixing it.

It seems to have a burnt resistor near the ribbon connector.  It should be easy enough to desolder and resolder a new one in if I can judge what it's rating is...it's pretty fried...black to begin with with what looks like a silver band.

I'm wondering what could cause such a problem.

I don't have any docs on this board though so can't check up on it.

Any thoughts...?
Sincerely,
