well believe it or not, in the small town i live(Haugesund,westcoast, pop ca.31000) there is an incredible mix of people: africans, jews, south americans, people from muslim countries, chineese, koreans, people from eastern europe, and a smaller minority is from france, usa, germany, and ofcourse norwegians   ;-)

Its a lovely small multi-culture society :-)

around 30% are non norwegians here, and its growing fast, i guess the same will apply for other small norwegian cities.

So my point is......not much blondes around here :-P

natural blonds are going to become extinct within the next 300 years anyway...

[according to an article in new scientist some time ago]

But i suppose they didn`t reckon on the looming eugenic wars...

Hehe. Most people I know were born blonde, but their hair-colour has darkened over the years.
Common phenomena AFAIK.

It'll be harder to get rid of everyone with blue eyes...

Don't be too hard on yourselves. You gave the world, not just IKEA, but knackebrod (I can't get the accents too easily on this keyboard), bryta (sp?) and swedish meatballs :-D

I was blond for the 1st several years of my life and then my hair became "chestnut" (my mother's term).
My grandmother had yellow eyes and both my parents have blue eyes.
I have hazel, sometimes green eyes, changing depending on forces I know nothing about.
I guess when I die that will become extinct too.
