 and therefore cannot yet be critisized or praised!

everybody agrees that it sounds good but nobody can testify or have strong conclusive opinions in the meantime

the wait is stressfully streched
those who cannot help being drawn towards dismal feelings of unease-curb your pessimism

soon enough Wayne will let us all know if os4 is according/behind/exceeding expectation. i'm crossing my fingers its the latter

I'll Agree.  I try to stay away from the OS4/Morph, A1/Peagasos wars.  Can't really talk about what you can'y compare.

However, if everyone here follows that lead, well then half of the forums would vanish.

I don't bicker, I just use OS's that already exist unfortunately the one I'm currently using is falling ever so slowly into M$'s pocket. They will control all of the worlds OS's if people don't make a stand.

If the new Amiga runs Linux and gets branded a Linux/Unix box so what, it's still another platform not controlled by M$. Maybe the person who made Linux can push the Amiga One forward as a platform.

Right now, here I sit at my OS X G4 with newly installed graphics card and Explorer 5.2 running on it. I like the fact it gets me on the Interweb and the Webernet and the media player lets me listen to streaming content on my 'puter but why does M$ persist in making things I'm then forced to use because most sites use it.

There's a paradoxical moan for you.

Sorry - cant read.  Thats fair enough, its easy to critise the fact that its late but there are reasons, such as PPCboot and the like.

Its not as if they`re sitting on their arses doing nothing

And in all this silence rumours and gossips will spread like fire. I have a couple of these, both positive and negative which may  turn out to be hoax, FUD, whatever - yet it's rumoured that a more comprehensive and robust feature list will be released _very soon_ for OS4. (It was one of the positive rumours, I'll suppress the negative ones :-))

Hope it won't turn out to be hoax.
