It goes back to my theory that all the good stuff is over in the UK, Germany, and Europe in general.  I guess most people in the US are too stupid to even  be interested in computers in general unless they have a beer attached to it.

Ah, what it would be like to have a collection like that.  Ultra Geekdom, it what it would be.

Question: how to deal with your partner when you bought all this?

*sigh* this 'd have a real deflation effect if you're collecting computers I think.

holy cow thats a shed load of stuff! you could loose yourself for months sorting all that stuff out! i think i'd keep all the amiga and games console stuff and wack the rest on ebay. to be honest, this all looks like a gathering of machines from schools and smaller educational establishments before they decided to go winPC. remember my middle school had an amiga 500, a couple of spectrums, a couple of commodore 128s, heard of secondary schools being pretty big on the ol Acorn Arcamedies.

maybe they should have rebadged the A1200/4000 the "Amiga *insert name of famous clever person here*" in order to appeal to schools. :-D

i'd keep the games consoles if only to say to my kids (if i have any) "this is what i had to use when i was your age" *waves zimmer frame about menecingly* "none of this multipixel pipeline fillrate garbage" :-)

A500, A600, A1200x3, A2000, A3000, A4000 & a CD32.
and probably just like the rest of you, crates full of related "treasure" for the above XD
