What I don't get, is if it was Acill's PPC, why did he buy it? Just to make a profit? If so is he a dealer? I have bought things before, like a couple of hard disks from ebay and sold on the one I didn't need, a load of SIMMS, used the ones I needed and flogged the rest and there's no problem with selling bits to help finance a hobby...
I like Amigas

I'm not a dealer. I just needed some parts from his complete setup, like the tower case, mobo, and mediator. No need to have two cyberstorm ppc cards (one I already have in my A4000DT unit), so I am selling the one that came from Acill on eBay. It would be nice if I could get most of the money back from that auction. That's what I am aiming for with this sale.

Yes, but I do have an A3640 and an Apollo 4060 with a dead 060 chip just sitting here, so if I want to upgrade to something better than stock 030, I can. ;-) I should probably get that 4060 going, as other than its poor SCSI controller, it is after all an 060 accelerator capable of 128MB ram. All I need is a replacement 060 cpu.

I tend to think EBay is a buyer driven market.
Since much Amiga hardware is not manufactured
anymore its buyer demand.
If a certain item is hard to find and in high
demand then the price goes up.

In my case I sold 2 HD 1.76 external floppys
for more than $150.00 per. But try to buy a new
external HD 1.76 floppy.
It was more than I payed for them new, but again
its buyer demand.
If they are foolish enough to bid and pay these
high prices then so be it. If you feel the price
is more than you want to pay then don't bid.

(BTW I started the bidding on those floppys at $15.00)
Stealth ONE  8-)
