Trumpcard 500 on ebay - 2 Zorro II for your A500!!

The special thing is the "edge" (doesnt do any edges at all, but hey) connector: it gives two Zorro II - Slots to an A500.

Not DMA, though, iirc.

So were is the second zorro slot?
I only see the edge connector(black), needed to hook to an a500 and 1 blue zorro slot,
that would be filled if using trump card controller, leaving 0 free zorro slots.

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing.  It's just a form-factor adaptor, basically, and I only see one useful slot, and it might only be useful for cards like the Trumpcard or DataFlyer controllers that can work on either A500 OR A2000, as I seem to recall someone saying a couple control lines aren't passed out the A500 connector.

lol, thanks, glad you like it. I was hoping this trump thing might be a way of getting a zorro ethernet in my 500 as to connect via broadband router to internet etc.

I used a Bodega Bay case to add Zorro II ethernet to one of my 500s awhile ago. Worked pretty well but the Bodega Bay case is enormous (think old IBM XT). That's probably why I still have the case under my desk at work. The wife might kill me if I bring it home

The picture is bad, but it's on there.  The normal 1 slot adapter is mounted at the circuit board level.  The extra slot is mounted on the right angle card that is sticking out of the board (it mounts to a 100 pin header) right behind the first slot.

Does this trump card have a "pass through" where one could connect an A530 to as well? Is there such a device that exists that provides ZORRO II compatibility to the A500 without hogging the side expansion bus by itself, thus share the bus with a scsi controller?

I was going to get one of those trumpcard adaptors, but instead bought a Slinghsot, as I couldn't find anywhere that would sell me the adaptor only.

The Slingshot pro has a passthrough IIRC giving an 86-pin connector as well as the 100 pin Zorro connector.
I have a Picasso II that I was going to try with one of my A500s [just for the hell of it!] but it was my aim to use a Zorro II network card with the A500...

The Trumpcard doesn't have a passthrough.

But, as mentioned the Slingshot Pro has a single Zorro II and a passthrough.  Don't get the original Slingshot as it doesn't have a passthrough.
