FS: A1000 NTSC Motherboard 1 MB
« on: April 08, 2004, 08:58:25 PM »
Hi,

once again I have something for you guys first if any of you is interested before putting it up on eBay.

It is an A1000 MB that has been "piggy-hacked" up to 1MB.

Makes the ideal Vintage gaming platform: you can put your printer on it, and shuffle the keyboard in the garage.

And when you feel like it, just have a blast from the past.

Comes with PSU and Floppy, but without Floppy-cable.

The case lacks the front, though, and I have no LED left. So I am selling this as a Motherboard.

The chipset is missing as well.

Pics are available upon request.

Have fun,
McTrinsic

It's the famous computer from the 80s that influenced the creation of AROS, years later. :-D

Like what??

It's an A1000 Motherboard ;)

Some chips have been soldered on the mem-chips to give 1 MB, plus the necessary data-lines (=wires, more soldering).

Have fun,
McTrinsic

Yes.

The title is: "FS: A1000 NTSC Motherboard 1 MB"

Didn't I say Motherboard? ;)

The special thing is that is features 1 Megabyte RAM, due to additionally soldered dip-rams (or whatever these little bug-like things were called).

As an addition, you get parts of the case (i.e. no front and back, the upper case with the writings is in good condition) plus the floppy.

Plus PSU.

No LEDs, though.

Have fun,
McTrinsic

If you really want a full A1000 system, I got one...

A1000 - 512kB
Sidecar - 2MB with SCSI interface (non-autboot)
Some CBM 15kHZ display 1081?
Keyboard
2x external floppies (A1010?)

you got some money?

Steve :D

 Hmm...raw, naked mobo pictures...mmmmm!
