Upgrading A500 to OS3.0+ ROM
« on: April 05, 2004, 06:07:26 AM »
I am looking at the possibilty of upgrading an A500 of mine to OS 3.0 or higher. Is there a specific ROM chip required for compatibilty with the A500? Or did each machine (ie A2000, A3000 etc) have their own specific ROM chip?

Just use a 500/2000 Kickstart 3.1 ROM.

Try looking. Virtually all the amiga hardware shops sell them.
