7 or 8 pints!? 3 beers and I'm a sheet in the wind!

Three? As in 0.3 litre bottles of pilsner? Man, you must have cheap nights out ;-).

I very very rarely ever drink past the point where you can close your eyes and feel the room spin. it's a little limit I've set for myself years and years ago after promising the base of my toilet while holding it tenderly, that I never wanted to see it at that angle again.
 :-P

Ah, bowing down and worshipping the porcelain god!
The worst time I've ever seen that happen, was when someone passed out on the floor of a bathroom at an impromptu party (well, post-pub-pissup), for the rest of the evening, he had people 'aiming' past him!

Tsk! You Americans - us Europeans have a higher alcohol tolerance cos we start earlier  I started going to the pub when I was 15! I had already found out all the perils of alcohol before I had reached 21!

P.S. Is it ALL states where 21 is the drinking age in the US, or are there some where it's lower?

The worst time I remember, was when I was at university. I woke up in my own bed, with no clothes on, and feeling as if my head had a Frenchman living in it. I looked around the room, and saw my clothes all neatly piled on a chair.
Turns out that a girl off my course had undressed me and put me to bed, and I didn't remember a thing!  :-o  :-o
The {bleep} could've at least left my underwear on! :-x

Trust me, it would be better that way. The girl in question had unrequited designs on me at the time!

Sorry,
'The girl in question' = the girl involved
'Unrequited' = unwanted, not shared [rough explanation]
'Designs' = when you have plans for something, when you 'have your eye on something'

In other words she was interested in me, but I wasn't too interested in her

English is just too idiomatic sometimes :-D

Don't want to be arrogant, but that sounds REALLY familiar to me. Plus that friends laugh about it when I had a "chance" and screwed it completely up. (before I really knew I just did not want to have anything with a woman)
