FlashMob: Cluster Event

Cluster

Hi
There is an attempt to create supercomputer cluster using various laptops/desktop (1.3 GHz/faster). The maximum number of CPU is 256.
What happen if the program use AmigaDE that run on top of both Windows and Linux and have asymmetric multiprocessing capability?
Should the organizer install Pluris 20 Tbps router or Infiniband Switching router (480 Gbps)?
If Pegasos III (with G5) can run AmigaDE, can the system join the cluster?

hmmmmm hard to say.

personally, if i had access to anything like that, i'd forget amigaDE and non-existant Peg3 G5 systems without cluster software, and work on a neural net Artificial Intelligence system instead.

but then you'd prolly have to upgrade your CPUS to handle the network bandwidth required, as sure you got infiniband, but if the CPU's are only able to push 20-40Mb/s to the network then your neural responses are going to be slow as crap.

A500, A600, A1200x3, A2000, A3000, A4000 & a CD32.
and probably just like the rest of you, crates full of related "treasure" for the above XD
