I haven't looked at it because I heard it was ad-supported...

Yes, I have, but I use P2P progs very little as I am only on dialup. It is good, from what I've seen, particularly for files (I mean rather than mp3s).

You can search for files on this site:
http://www.filedonkey.com/

and it has user reports for files (if they are fake, incomplete etc)

I have just started to use overnet but have a 56k
connection so at this time im limited to what i
can download.I use the Basic GUI vesion and its
free to download and use.

It's basically a form of edonkey that doesn't use nodes, or something. I don't care. I removed it from my family PC because it comes with a whole heap of spyware, adware, and malware. Avoid.
