I'm already registered at aros-exec.org and amigaworld.net,
so I'll be at those two along with various C= 8-bit sites.

I will certainly miss this site though - it's been my home
page for a long time.

Ultra60 2x450MHz UltraSPARC II, 2GB RAM, 9GB U160 and 36GB U320 drives, CDROM

1. aros-exec.org
2.pegasos.org
3. morphzone.org/amigaworld.net
4.ann.lu
But I still don“t belive it, if it was for real it would have been confirmed with another news item by now.

First we lost all the great Amiga magazines and now all the cool Amiga web pages. The Amiga web directory used to be my favorite and when they went I came to Amiga.org. To be honest when Amiga.org goes I doubt I'll visit any Amiga web pages with the regularity that I visited it. :-?

A1000, A500, A600, A1200, CDTV, A2000, A4000 Towered, SamFlex 800mhz,

Exodus! What is this the Bible?
Don't you frequent other Amiga News Sites?
I know I see many AO members on other Amige News sites.
I might not comment much or at all, but I do frequent AO (Duh!), AW, ANN, AROS-Exec, and occasionally Moobunny, Morphzone, Amiga-News.

Well, I'm on Amigaworld.net, as Arikel_Tolifen, but it's just not the same. I DO go there, from time to time, but well, Amiga.org has been my home for too long to change. Sigh....I guess I'm going back to about:blank as my homepage. :-(  :-(  :-(  :-(  :-(

Sold downriver to lesbians. It could only happen to Amiga

I really hope its not true, but the portents don't seem too good.

I wonder if we could get a niche market for selling amiga/compatible systems to visitors of the new amiga.org ?

If all this is true (and I still don't believe it) then Wayne should back up the system and hand it to someone else to host under a different name and domain (I cannot see how a "non-competition clause" could prevent this).  I might spend a bit more time at AW.net, but like others have said, if A.org goes then we'll have lost the only peaceful site that all people can user, whatever their "colour" :-(

This seems a sensible suggestion. I realise the site data is probably quite large but I don't see any reason it couldn't be archived and revived under a different domain, even on a different server, if need be. I feel this should be looked into. Who cares what the site ends up being called? I sure don't.

Hello all

I've read through this thread, and the news item regarding this issue. Does this truly mean that the days of computer discussion on this site are over? I am a little unclear as to what this transfer of the domain name really entails.

It is my hope that all of you NOT cease posting on Amiga sites. It would truly be a sad era in Amiga's history...

And, I\'ve relapsed, LOL.

Hmm, might be canceling again. LOL
