OnEscapee
« on: March 30, 2004, 11:10:12 AM »
Anyone know where I can get this game? I've never seen it on eBay, and I've tried a few of the other usual places such as Forematt, etc.

I'm also interested to know people's opinions of it, for those who already own it.

Thanks!
Steve.

I've got this, its a good(ish) game in the style of anotherworld/flashback.

However I found it *very* hard in fact impossible to complete. I got stuck on the corridor with exploding land mines and have not played it since

I bought it when it first came out. A nice game with brilliant graphics, but if you get it *don't* use the walkthrough guide on the CD. You'll lose a lot of enjoyment.

The landmine bit in the corridor is very hard, but anyone who's completed Another World (like me :-D) will get past it. And you should try, because from then the game gets even prettier and more atmospheric.

But I don't know where to get it these days, sorry.

Well I completed Another World, but the land mines in onEscapee are way to hard for me. I spent the best part of a week trying to complete it!

Huh .. I couldn't get past the puzzle on the wall !!

Took me ages to do and then nothing happened .. So I dont know  if the game hung or what ?

Been so long since I played it I'd forgotten what to do .. I tried playing it just before the Big Bash and I'd forgotten how to get off the first screen !!

I always wanted to buy this game, but couldn't find it anywhere in Australia. I loved the demo I got on one of the Amiga magazine CDs. I did however find it on an FTP the other day, but I would still like to buy it to add to my collection.

On the same note, does anyone know what format the audio files in the "Intro" folder are in?

I couldn't even complete the demo of this on a CU Amiga Cover CD a while ago.. just shows how bad I am at games
It's tricky I'll give you that

A hard game I think although not on the Amiga is Heart Of Darkness for the PlayStation.
UGH... that was so frustrating!
