My Amiga is seemingly dead... Has been for quite some time. The thing is, I was re-arranging all my 'old' computer stuff the other day and I noticed that the solder joint for one of the wires to the keyboard lock was broken. When I took the lock out, the other joint broke off as well. Now, before I go through all the trouble of reassembling the 4000 (It's all to pieces ATM), I want to make sure it's worth the attempt.
How does an Amiga 4000 behave when the keyboard lock is, well, locked? Secondly, can I fool the 4000 into 'thinking' the lock is open by simply shorting the header on the motherboard?
