A1200NG upgrade and black screen

Good morning,

The A1200NG is a great computer. I did everything according to the instructions, logged into Amisphere, managed to download ImageFX to a CF card, then launched Amibench and checked the system's performance, and it's fine. Then I updated it, and the system screen went black, leaving only the mouse cursor. I've had the system on for 4 hours and still nothing has changed. Could you please help me solve this problem?

After over 6 hours, I turned off the A1200NG because the screen was still black, with only the mouse cursor visible. Then I turned on the A1200NG and the Amiga-Kit splash screen appeared, complete with a progress bar, checkmark logo, and a welcome sound. The LED on the motherboard remained green.

My fault for not backing up the microSD card that originally came with the A1200NG. I've learned my lesson now 😭

Thanks for your help. I watched the video. I wrote to support@amigakit.com and am waiting for a response.

I watched the video again. While reinstalling Amibench/Linux, I got a printed email from support@amigakit.com with a link to the Amiga-KIT FTP server. I have to wait for a response from tech support, but unfortunately, there's nothing I can do now.

I think it would be a good idea to be able to download Amibench/Linux from the Amiga-KIT server, of course after logging in

The issue has been resolved. I received a quick response from AmigaKIT with a link to the Amibench system image. I'm very happy.
