Strange little db23 to db23 board I found

I recently dragged my old amiga 2000 out of mothballs, and among the bits and pieces I found was this tiny board, with a db23 male on one side and a db23 female on the other side.  All it does is rearrange some of the signals.   I don't know if it is for the external floppy or the video connector, but looking at the connections, it does not completely make sense for either.  It would disable the write data signal, or it remove the horizontal sync and digital red signal.  It could even be left over from my amiga 1000 that I no longer have.  Before I pull the connectors off it (to make a cable for my external floppies) I would like to know why I bought this? What is it  for?

Might be a dongle to use with XCopy or Cyclone for syncing  disk read/writes with an external drive.

YES! That is it!  I had no memory of a dongle for x-copy.  Thanks to your reply I looked up X-copy and found images of the dongle.  I had searched for JUBA and GEFI, but failed to search for CACHET, which would have answered the question.  All three of those words are written on the board.  After no success with the first two, I assumed they were all board manufacturer marks.  So I guess I need to cut up a db25 connector to make a cable for my external drives.   For some reason I had thrown away the two floppies, case, and cable from my home made dual external drive, but keep the PCB I made for it.  No clue why I did that.  I also tossed my Amax board, mac floppy, and my backup tape drive.  At least I still have all my floppies, and the 2000.  Thanks again.

You can get new male and female DB23 connectors from Aliexpress. I buy them to make Gotek adapters, and they aren't crazy expensive.
