I have recently unearthed my old A1500 which has double floppy disks and a SCSI controller / hard disk.
I plugged it in and it doesn't boot from the hard disk any more, but I see the workbench disk image on the screen so it probably has potential.
I would very much like to bring it back to full working order and wanted to get some pointers. I'm going to take it apart and replace all electrolytic capacitors (power supply and motherboard) as a precaution before I go too far and a few years ago I also snipped the battery off the board.
Unfortunately I can't find my 3.5" disks, but I'm aware of the ADF images from the Belgian Amiga Club. How can I use these with say a modern storage format like an SD card or USN disk? Is an Amiga GOTEK a solution?
I'd also like to use a HDMI monitor - what are the conversion options?
Any other pointers on good techniques for recommissioning an old Amiga 1500?
