Ciao!
« on: September 24, 2025, 12:59:47 PM »
Hello! :)
Recently my ol' A500 stopped working with glitches and whatever, so I embarked in a repair journey that without help will eventually end in buying a new mobo.

Looking for resources I stumbled on this fine forum, so expect a new thread in "Amiga Hardware Issues" shortly, I bought some things like the Diagrom, but now I have more questions than answers...

Why I want to repair this machine instead of an emulator? I have this wild idea of playing MODs with the original thing. I've already put some demoscene, cracktro and keygen music at parties, people at first are quite puzzled but the tunes are catchy and they dance a lot.

Thank you in advance.

If its an A500. I would try reseating all chips, as 99% of wierd issues are caused by dodgy contacts.
