Amiga wasn't my first, but it's the first computer that you can sort of use for something other than playing games. And the novelty of playing 80s and early 90s games wear off after 5 minutes for me at least. I have various emulated amiga systems, some are faithful recreations of era specific setups, like whatever was possible at the time I owned one myself, and some are testing what can be achieved with whatever progress have been made since. It's just fun to fiddle around with. But no matter how cool the games were at the time, I just find them to be boring now compared to new games  :P

Sadly I missed the whole C64. My dad bought us a Spectrum 48k.
Then we moved on to Atari STFM and then to Amiga.

I do own The C64. Just so I can play Short Circuit and a few others. As after hearing SID music and playing some of the games, I'm hooked on SID tunes.

Just ordered one. I started with an C16, and short after upgraded to an C64. Together with a friend and my dad we followed an Basic training for some weeks. 1 day every week in the evening. This was such a great time. For home use i managed to create applications in basic.  The c64 was my childhood computer.  Some years ago i bought 1 from a online website. But it thing died after a few months. It is old stuff.
So when i saw there was a new one coming, it was pretty clear and i ordered one.  The standard one is ordered. Since that one (the beige color) brings back memory's.

I don't see any one person swooping in and buying up Amiga like has been done for Commodore, it's too fragmented and a legal minefield, and the 2 biggest parties involved would probably want wayyy to much money to be bought out
Escom A1200, Power Tower, OS3.9 & BB2, HD-Floppy drive, Mediator PCI, Voodoo 3 3000 16MB, Soundblaster 4.1, TV Tuner Card, 10/100MBit Ethernet card, Apollo 68060 66MHz with 64MB, 9.5Gig HD and 52xCDRom

Also one spare unworking bare A1200

Yep, Commodore is in good hands again I think. Now we need Amiga to join the fold and we are a go.

Michael Battilana is a safe pair of hands and Christian makes YouTube videos. I can't see the synergy TBH!?! If they work together to license THEA1200/THEC=1200 then that is a means to an end. Beyond that the Amiga has been apart from C= for longer than it was within its control! They bought the Amiga and then lost it when they went bankrupt and it was spun off. The end!

Well, maybe that's the problem - you just don't see. Because one person _did_ exactly this, and his name is Michael Battilana.
